How to play — a sane practice order

Use this page as a training menu. Each step assumes a short session — realistic for metro rides and evening breaks.

1. Pick your batting scheme

Start with Classic until timing feels automatic. Move to Pro when you can read length early — the upgrade is about prediction, not pride.

2. Calibrate cameras

Switch between bowler’s end and batsman’s end in nets-style sessions. The correct angle is the one that keeps your eyes on release without crowding the HUD.

3. Respect the timing meter

Lofted shots reward patience. If you are chasing aerial routes, rehearse against slower bowlers first — fewer surprises while you learn swing arcs.

4. Bowling: build a default plan

Pick two stock deliveries and learn their defensive outcomes before expanding. Field placement matters more once rivals read patterns — delay manual tweaks until your lines are stable.

5. Fielding: anticipate

Sharp throws and diving stops look cinematic, but consistency wins multiplayer. Position for the common single first; heroics second.

6. Night sessions

If you mostly play after work, test LED stumps and contrast early — fatigue changes perception more than sliders do.

7. Pause culture

Long formats are marathons. Use breaks between overs the way real sides reset — stretch, hydrate, then return with a clearer plan.
